Chinese Premier, Wen Jiabao visits Wuhan Fiberhome Group Company in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province, on March 30th 2009. Wen Jiabao, is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee. Wen inspected Hubei Province during March 29th to 31st. This is the second time Wen visited Fiberhome. He last visited Fiberhome on June 11th 2004. The Premier visited Fiberhome workshop located in Telecom industries building, after presentation of a report on technology innovation and Industrial development presented by the Secretary of CPC Party committee and Acting Dean of Fiberhome Group, Mr. Tong Guohua. Wen encouraged Fiberhome research & development staff with four phrases: ¡°dispel apprehensions and act with courage; emancipate the mind; be full of spirit of creativity and innovate bravely.¡± He also encouraged each staff member of Fiberhome to be a promising personality. 
¡°The country's future lay in innovation, and all challenges would be conquered if China adhered to innovation in its development,¡± Wen said.
Wen encouraged companies to strengthen research and development and make breakthroughs in core technologies. ¡°More government support should be given to high technology industries such as electronic information, software service and bio-medicines,¡± he said.
