Using such a repeater, the local unit of repeater will receive RF signal through the coupler port of BS, the RF signal will be converted to optical signal in the local unit, then transmitted to the remote unit lain indoor by optical fiber. In remote unit, the optical signal will be converted to RF signal again and be amplified to a high power signal, then throuth antenna or leak cable, the signal will be distributed to every corner of the building.
