
Project topology shows as figure 1, two 100M transactions in XuChang Bureau are needed to be transmitted to YanLing former Bureau and new Bureau. CWDM C15004 is applied to XuChang Bureau and YanLing former Bureau. C15004 can multiplex 4 wavelengths into a pair of fibers. Because YanLing former Bureau is an intermediate note which have transactions upload and download as well as data forwarding. The former Bureau use C15009 which can realize four transactions upload/download and may also act as relay to forward transactions. Two 100M transactions in XuChang Bureau are multiplexed into one fiber. After the transactions reach the former Bureau, C15009 finish transaction division multiplexing and transmit transactions to its network devices, at the same time, it forwards other transactions to the new Bureau where the C15004 will realize transaction division multiplexing and transmit transactions to network devices.
F-engine C15004 and C15009 provide multiple input/output interface such as 100M, 1000M, STM-1, STM-4 interface to meet various access demands. With the increase of network transactions, some interfaces are reserved in C15004 and C15009 for newly increased access transactions or acted as backup interfaces. C15009 not only can provide 4/8 transmission channels in single fiber to resolve the problem of the lacking of fiber resource in some areas but also be convenient to upload/download data transactions. These characteristics make us easily to construct MAN and many kinds of network structure.
By adopting C15004 and C15009, XuChang Telecom can control over its subordinate Bureau’s transactions directly via one line and the network maintenance are becoming easier to carry out.
Shangdong WeiHai city’s hotel broadband accessing project
After our R4000 series routers have been introduced into network market, they are widely used in succession in HuBei, TianJin, QingHai, ShanDong, JiangSu, AnHui, ShanXi and so on.
In figure 1 we can see how it is applied to Shangdong WeHai city’s hotel broadband accessing project. One set of F-engine R4101 is installed in the central office of WeiHai Telecom which connect to WeiHai backbone network via gigabit interface in the uplink direction, and link other media converter and switch via 10/100M electrical interface in the downlink direction. All users can surf in broadband net via this link.
DHCP server allocate IP address for clients. Radius server provides user authentication and accounting. RADIUS accounting supports standard RADIUS accounting protocol(RFC 2865, RFC2866), master/backup RADIUS server, 2-class accounting and load equilibrium. It also can provide specific accounting information such as time and flow. This Radius-based accounting scheme is highly safe and easy to be managed. It can be convenient for hotel administrator to get all users’ network recording information timely and exactly and the application received favorable comments from our customers.
The Application of Opening MSTP to Broadband IP Network in HeBei Province
Project Introduction:
HanDan city, about 100km far away from SheXian in HeBei Province, rely on SDH to process telecommunication transactions. With the sharp increase of broadband market, HanDan Telecom hope to explore dialing network transactions and develop broadband data transactions. Beside HanDan city, there are eleven counties which are not covered by IP MAN, meanwhile, it is impossible to construct new fiber network because of limited conditions, so the only solution is to make use of existing resource to construct IP network.
Considering SheXian have already had one set of 2.5G SDH and many free SDH card, FiberHome Networks propose EOS solution by using F-engine AM1001 EOS access equipment. EOS technology complaint with X.86 standard that make Ethernet switch connect with SDH network directly and get Ethernet data running directly in SDH/SONET at layer 2. It possess remarkable functions such as high performance and cost-efficient. It can improve network speed and ensure end-to-end service separation, safety, interoperation and bandwidth. So the cost is much lower than POS. It also has the features such as low latency and jitter, remote failure indication and active flow control etc.. In addition, a 100Mbps Ethernet interface can be get in SDH, so carrier can extend broadband transactions more cost-efficient by adopting this solution.
Project topology shows as figure above, one set of EOS sited in data office of HanDan Telecom, its SDH interface is connected to transmission office via fiber, Ethernet interface is connected to layer 3 switch via UTP5. Another EOS equipment is installed in SheXian Telecom. The SDH interface in EOS is connected to SDH via 10m jumping line, Ethernet interface is connected to VDSL equipment via fibers. As EOS equipment is transparent to Ethernet protocol, so data transactions can be extended directly to achieve high speed Ethernet data exchange.
We select free 155M SDH branch card in the SDH/SONET Ring which connect HanDan with SheXian introduce them into the same time space via add/drop multiplexing as the Ethernet Frame transmission carrier.
By using our company’s EOS AM1001 as protocol transfer equipment, we can package the Ethernet MAC Frame into LAPS Frame which can be transmitted through SDH line. So the point-to-point transmission can be realized by transmission line in SDH.
After installment, we can inspect information transmitted from EOS to SDH. Now, in HanDan Telecom Bureau, the network administrator can monitor other counties’ SDH working status and judge whether EOS work properly.
