BPC STM-16 backbone project FAT accomplished successfully

Bhutan Power Corporation (BPC) is the largest public sector enterprise in Bhutan kingdom with the mandate of distributing electricity throughout Bhutan and also providing transmission access for generating stations for domestic supply as well as export.
FiberHome had won the international tender of BPC and will undertake the job of Supply, Installation & Commissioning OF SDH Equipments for Establishing International Gateway and Nodal Bandwidth Distribution Points, plus establishment of Network Management System at BPC Head Office in Chubachhu, Thimphu. The project will form the broadband transmission backbone for BPC. The existing THPA project which commissioned by FiberHome in 2007 will be also integrated with the incoming BPC backbone and become part of it. FibeHome will supply the leading STM-16 equipment, viz. CiTrans 550F with primary mux SAU-02A for perfectly fulfilling the requirement of multiple types of services including PDH 2Mbit/s, voice, Ethernet etc.
The officers from BPC and representative from Ministry of Information & Communication of Bhutan Kingdom arrived in Wuhan on November 1st 2009, paid a 23-days' visit to FiberHome during which the Factory Acceptance Test and the training courses encompassing the principles, operations as well as the maintenance of SDH & Access equipments were carried out. The FAT and training course were accomplished successfully and had given a deeply impression on Bhutan guests.
