[Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 12 May, 2011] FiberHome, as one of the leading providers of in optical telecommunication network solutions for operators around the world, has participated with pride in the returned Broadband World Forum Asia 2011, which is a summit forum and exhibition event of broadband technologies in Asia hosted by Telekom Malaysia (TM). The speech of FiberHome’s expert and the exhibition booth won widespread applause and interesting from the forum attendees.

As the era of broadband with massive FTTx deployment, delegates and speakers from operators, telecom vendors, consulting and media companies made the keynotes, described and discussed the understanding and experience in broadband technologies.

Duane R Remein, Director of Standards of FiberHome who also is the Chief Editor at IEEE 802.3av (10G-EPON) Task Force and Vice-Chairman at IEEE 1409.1 (SIEPON), also made an attractive keynote with the topic of “Delivering Upon the Promises of Broadband” at the forum. This presentation described how broadband technologies has changed the living style of human society by direct or non-intentional way, and how communication technology leads a green and eco-friendly boost for the economic development.

Besides the forum speeches, FiberHome also presented a well design exhibition booth to showcase the total solution on FTTx and Optical Networks. At FTTx solution panel, FiberHome showcased how the Next-Gen PON and full series of optical transport equipment increases the bandwidth and capacity for access, convergence and backbone networks, as well as enhances customers’ market competitiveness. At the same time, the comprehensive ODN map illustrated the integrated and customized solution for customers in building efficient FTTx networks and significantly lowering the rollout and O&M costs. All of these have won widespread recognition during the exhibition.

As of May 2011, FiberHome’s equipment and solution offerings have served many main and leading operators, including China Mobile, China Telecom, Telekom Malaysia (TM) and etc. During this Forum, FiberHome sponsored the Host TM, which is also FiberHome’s strategic customer in Malaysia and APAC region as well, and took fruitfully meeting and cocktail party with TM’s top management about the cooperation between FiberHome.
